Parliament sends draft amendments to Constitution regarding decentralization to Constitutional Court

Rada has voted in favor of draft resolution No. 2217 to send bill No. 2217a "On making amendments to Constitution of Ukraine regarding decentralization" to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

288 people's deputies voted for the bill, Censor.NET informs.

The draft was presented in the Parliament by President Poroshenko.

Now, Constitutional Court will have to assess legitimacy of the amendments.

As known, the bill has been supported by almost all of the Rada factions. At the same time, all members of Radical Party present at the hall voted against the draft amendments.

In addition, all Samopomich faction deputies who took part in the voting have not supported the draft, except for Hanna Hopko, who voted in favor.
