Soldiers of Right Sector's 7th battalion will allot Azov regiment

40 fighters and their commander from the Right Sector's 7th separate battalion will allot the National Guard Azov battalion. Five battalion soldiers will remain within the Right Sector.

This was announced by commander Ruslan 'Rem' Kachmala on Monday, Censor.NET reports citing the Interior Ministry press service.

According him, the decision to transfer to the National Guard was made some time ago. Now the process of legal allotment of the Right Sector fighters to the National Guard is being initiated.

"The reasoning is simple. We've been fighting for a while, but the Right Sector has become more corrupt and stepped outside the law. So we decided to leave the Right Sector as a whole detachment. I have deserted the Right Sector some time ago, but haven't announced that. Now we will become part of official structures. We are remaining at our positions," Kachmala said.

According to him, 40 fighters will transfer to Azov at the moment. They all have filed official applications.
