National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov commented on today's statement by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that "the Russian Federation has closed Crimea's issue", Censor.NET informs citing the press service of the NSDC.
According to Turchynov, Lavrov, like all the Russian leadership, sees the closure of Crimea issue "in his dreams."
"This issue can be closed only after the cessation of operations and the withdrawal of all Russian troops from the peninsula. The Russian Navy also must leave Sevastopol due to gross violation of the Agreement on its deployment," he said.
"While the question of Crimea can be completely resolved only after the renewal of the entire system of the Ukrainian government in Crimea," Turchynov said.
"The Russian authorities must realize that the theft should be returned and any self-respecting country will cooperate with criminals and thieves. For Russia, Crimea has become a rock, which quickly pulls it to the bottom," the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council summed up.
