"Militants from pro-Russian gangs continue to violate all agreements on conflict deescalation in the east of Ukraine. During the day of June 29, they shelled the Ukrainian army's positions 38 times. Another 40 cases of cease-fire violation by terrorists were recorded in the evening and until midnight. The total number of shelling cases reached 83 times yesterday," the message reads.
The ATO HQ noted that the enemy was using 82-mm and Minsk-banned 120-mm mortars along the demarcation line.
In particular, terrorists shelled Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Butivka mine, and Pisky from the occupied Donetsk and vicinity.
In the Luhansk region, Kriakivka, Novotoshkivske, Zolote, and Stanytsia Luhanska suffered from shelling.
In Artemivsk direction, missiles and grenades exploded near Ukrainian positions at Kirove, Leninske, and Maiorsk.
In the south of the Donetsk region, the enemy used mortars to shell Novotroitske and Hranitne.
The morning of June 30 was unquiet in the ATO area as well. "Of more than 10 cases of cease-fire violation by mercenaries, more than a half was conducted with the use of banned artillery. In particular, Druzhba and Vrubivka at Artemivsk direction were shelled with 122-mm howitzers, Zolote was fired at with an MLRS. Besides, there is information of sabotage activities of the mercenaries in the Luhansk region."
According to the ATO press center, terrorists are preparing to launch more massive provocations, in particular in Stanytsia Luhanska. ATO HQ say there might be terrorist attacks in places of public events.
