 Skirmishes underway near 29th and 25th checkpoints at Bakhmutka road, Luhansk governor says


Ukrainian soldier tripped a mine near Novotoshkivka village, at the 29th checkpoint at the Bakhmutka road.

This is announced by Head of the Luhansk regional military and civil administration Hennadii Moskal, Censor.NET reports.

"41-year-old sergeant tripped a grenade trip wire in a treeline near the village. Fortunately, his wounds are light, there is no life threat," the message reads.

Moskal also noted that Novotoshkivka was not shelled, however, there were skirmishes with the use of grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms near the 29th and 25th checkpoints at the Bakhmutka road.

"There were combat activities in Krymske, Troitske (Popasna district near Debaltseve), Stanytsia Luhanska, and Katerynivka in the night. They all were local, no artillery was used. No information of casualties was received," the press service noted.
