Militants attacked Shyrokyne 11 times over past night: four soldiers wounded - Sector M press officer


Last night a serviceman of the National Guard tripped a mine in Shyrokyne of the Donetsk region. Also, four National Guard soldiers were wounded in Shyrokyne as a result of terrorist shelling on the night of May 31.

This is stated by press officer of sector M Dmytro Horbunov, Censor.NET reports citing Mariupol website 0629.

According to him, a National Guard soldier was slightly wounded in the evening of May 29 and was taken to a hospital in Mariupol.

In a comment to Channel 5 Horbunov noted that four National Guard soldiers had been injured in the nighttime attacks by terrorists against the ATO forces near Shyrokyne.

According to him, "the enemy violated the cease-fire 11 times. The Ukrainian military opened fire in response. After that the terrorists asked for a truce, which they subsequently violated."

The night was also restless at the Donetsk direction, where the militants once again used large-caliber mortars and small arms. According to ATO headquarters representative in sector B Yevhen Silkin, the terrorists attacked Pisky and Mariinka. There are no reports on casualties among the military or civilians.
