"A few weeks ago I talked to him on how to build relations between Ukraine and Russia in the way we would like them to be. Boris declared that he is going to reveal irrefutable evidence of Russia's military presence in Ukraine. Someone was very afraid of this. Boris wasn't afraid, and the executioners were afraid. They killed him," the president said in Vinnytsia on Saturday.

President Poroshenko said that Nemtsov was a "bridge between Ukraine and Russia".
