France and Germany convene an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine

The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on the situation in Ukraine on Friday, Feb. 27, where it will discuss the implementation of the Minsk Agreement.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing ZN.UA.

The convening an emergency UN Security Council meeting was initiated by Germany and France. The meeting with hear OSCE reports with information about the war in Ukraine and the implementation of the Minsk agreements.

Part of the OSCE reports will be publicly available, but the discussion will be held behind closed doors.

On Mar. 2 U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov are to meet in Geneva, where they will discuss the situation in Ukraine.
