A significant decrease of the militants’ attacks on the ATO forces’ positions and peaceful cities and villages was observed today, Feb. 24. 14 cases of cease-fire violation were recorded from 5 a.m. until now.

Censor.NET informs citing the ATO press service latest report.

The summary reads: "The enemy focused its main efforts at the Mariupol direction today. The militants shelled Shyrokyne village from mortars and artillery eight times in the morning. Subsequently the terrorists stormed our positions near this village. The engagement lasted more than two hours. However, the terrorist attack was successfully repulsed.

"The militants fired at Luhanske village from small arms and mortars at the Debaltseve direction.

"Avdiivka, Pisky, and Opytne villages came under terrorist groups' artillery and mortar shelling at the Donetsk direction

"The enemy was shooting towards Stanytsia Luhanska village using small arms in Luhansk region.

"The illegal armed groups continue to actively use unmanned aerial vehicles for reconnaissance and artillery fire adjustment. In particular, UAV flight was recorded over the village of Talakivka at the Mariupol direction today.

"Besides, the enemy drone was spotted and destroyed by the anti-air defense detachments near Kramatorsk today," the report reads.
