Terrorist leaders agreed on plan for heavy armament disengagement starting from Feb. 22

Militants' leaders from the so-called 'DPR' and 'LPR' agreed upon withdrawal of heavy weapons.

Head of the Ukrainian military group at the Joint Cease-fire Monitoring Coordination Center Petro Kanonik stated, Censor.NET informs citing Pravda.com.ua.

Just an hour ago, Russia's representative to the Joint Center Aleksander Lentsov signed a document on heavy armament disengagement with the 'DPR' leader Zakharchenko and 'LPR' leader Plotnitskiy," Kanonik informed.

"The H-hour is on Feb. 22," he added.

He was then asked how to deal with Debaltseve town, since, according to Minsk agreements, the militants should withdraw weapons from the demarcation line as of Sept. 19 and Ukraine should withdraw arms from the line as of Feb. 12, when the Minsk agreements were signed, but the ATO forces retreated from the line after the negotiations.

"The map was compiled according to the Minsk agreements. At that time Debaltseve was under our control," he answered.

"However, I do not rule out that Debaltseve issue can be resolved separately because it was the militants who violated the cease-fire, while the town was under our control at the moment when the 2nd Minsk Agreements were signed," Kanonik said.
