Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave a typical commentary to SBU's statement that Kremlin participated in Maidan shooting, calling it "madman's fantasies"

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Aleksandr Lukashevich said that Kyiv's statement on the involvement of the Putin’s presidential aide Vladislav Surkov on relationship with Abkhasia, South Ossetia and Ukraine in the sniper shooting on Maidan square in 2014, which killed more than 100 people, is "madman's fantasies."

"Special services of Ukraine have a lot of things to do. However, while investigation is in progress, they capitalize on people's death, reciting "madman's fantasies," Lukashevich concluded.

On Thursday, Head of the SBU Valentyn Nalyvaichenko voiced information that Putin's presidential aide Vladislav Surkov had been managing the foreign sniper groups in Kyiv in February 2014. Nalyvaichenko said that this information had been received during interrogations of the SBU Alpha Special Forces personnel.

Earlier Censor.NET informed that Russian special forces fired both at Euromaidan activists and Berkut officers.
