 22 Ukrainian soldiers killed and over 150 wounded in three days of fighting and in the course of exiting Debaltseve

Casualties of the anti-terrorist operation in the last days of fighting in Debaltseve of the Donetsk region and in the course of leaving the city amounted to 22 dead and more than 150 wounded.

This was stated by First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the armed forces of Ukraine Hennadii Vorobiov, during a meeting in the ATO area headed by President Poroshenko, Censor.NET reports citing Channel 5.

"In total, over the last three days of fighting, the Artemivsk hospital received 137 wounded servicemen of the Ukrainian armed forces, 18 of the Interior Ministry and three of the National Guard. In the recent days of heavy fighting 22 soldiers were killed including six during the orderly exit from Debaltseve," the deputy chief of the General Staff stated.

Vorobiov also informed about the results of the planned withdrawal of the Ukrainian troops from Debaltseve: "As of 5 p.m. 2,459 military personnel including 2,112 soldiers of the armed forces, 168 of the National Guard, 175 of the Interior Ministry, and four Border Guards were dislocated from the area of Debaltseve ".

In addition, 200 pieces of military equipment, including 15 tanks, and approximately 50 armored personnel carriers were redeployed from Debaltseve.
