"The planned displacement of the units of the ATO forces which carried out combat missions of defending Debaltseve currently continues, but it is in the final stage," he said.
"Given the terrorists' non-compliance with the cease-fire and their attempts to capture Debaltseve at any cost, as well as comprehensive support of the terrorists by Russia, the relocation of the units who were carrying out combat missions at Debaltseve direction is currently being completed to ensure the safety of servicemen; a march is under way to specific positions; it is planned and organized," he said.
He also said that "all measures are being taken for evacuation and emergency care to our soldiers wounded earlier. Mobile hospitals have been deployed and are providing emergency care. The most grave ones are being sent to Kharkiv," Motuzianyk added. He said that there were cases when the military came under attack during the exit. He did not name the exit place.
Earlier, Poland expressed concerns regarding the withdrawal of the Ukrainian troops from Debaltseve calling it "an open violation of the Minsk agreements."
