Militants did not allow OSCE observers to Debaltseve – Foreign Affairs Minstry


Representatives of the illegal armed groups did not allow observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to inspect Debaltseve town in the Donetsk region.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin reported at a briefing, Censor.NET writes.

"Unfortunately, they were not allowed to Debaltseve, despite all our efforts and efforts of the Mission, " Klimkin said.

President Poroshenko has appealed for the representatives of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine to observe how the cease-fire is kept on Debaltseve bridgehead and asked the observers to immediately go to Debaltseve. "(I Urge) to ensure effective monitoring, verification and control of the cease-fire on both sides," Poroshenko said. The president has declared cease-fire in the ATO zone starting 12 a.m., Feb. 15, along the entire line of contact in the ATO area.

Earlier Censor.NET reported that Ukraine will use satellites to monitor the withdrawal of Russian heavy armamment and troops.
