Adviser to the head of the SBU Markiian Lubkivskyi said that the man who brought the Ukrainian soldiers the bomb disguised as a jar of honey, which killed one and wounded three soldiers, was arrested today.

Lubkivskyi wrote on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.

His post reads: "I am writing from Novoaidar village. The Security Service of Ukraine officers in conjunction with the Chernihiv Battalion servicemen have found (!) and detained a Ukrainian citizen born in 1951, who 'treated' Ukrainian military at the checkpoint near Stanytsia Luhanska village on Jan. 16 of this year with a jar of honey, which turned out to be a bomb. One serviceman was killed and three more were wounded as a result of this cynical terrorist attack. When the man was detained, more honey was found at his place. The examination and other investigative activities are underway."
