Yatseniuk advocates for common position of Ukraine, US, and EU on resolving the conflict in Donbas

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk called for the formation of a unified position of the U.S., Ukraine, Germany and France to resolve the conflict in the Donbas.

He stated this during a briefing with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainian News.

"We had a lot of different formats. First - Geneva, second - Normandy. "I believe that the best format should be the Kyiv one - the U.S., Germany, France, the EU on the whole, and Ukraine," he said.

Yatseniuk noted that the representatives of these countries need to sit down at the negotiations table to work out a strong joint position on the Russian aggression.

The prime minister stressed that he stands for peaceful settlement of the conflict in the Donbas.
