Terrorists demand to revise the demarcation line fixed by the Minsk Agreements

At the negotiations of the Contact Group on Ukrainian reconciliation, the representatives of the 'DPR' and 'LPR' terrorist groups demanded to fix the demarcation line at the actual line of contact as of Jan. 31.

Denis Pushilin, 'DPR''s envoy at the Contact Group talks, said before leaving Minsk, Censor.NET reports.

"The actual line [of contact], on implementing of which we have to insist, is quite objective," Pushilin stressed, adding that the "Ukrainian party is against the actual line, it insists on the line fixed on Sept. 19, [2014]".

Commenting on the fact that the leaders of the armed groups did not come to Minsk, Pushilin said that 'DPR' and 'LPR' heads will come to the talks in Minsk only after signing final document and order of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to suspend fire.

Pushilin added that being the ex-president, Leonid Kuchma can not sign the agreement since "he is relieved from responsibility in the event of not fulfilling the agreement."

Earlier in the day, Leonid Kuchma, the Kyiv Contact Group envoy, accused the terrorists' representatives of breaking the negotiations down, particularly because the leaders of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics did not show up.
