Over 600,000 citizens of the occupied Crimea and city of Sevastopol are left without electricity.

This was announced by the Energy Ministry of Russia, Censor.NET reports citing Liga.

"As of 8:00 p.m. Moscow time, the following data is available: about 493,000 people are left without power in Crimea, about 115,000 people in the city of Sevastopol, the total being 608,000 people, 300 MW," the official website of the ministry reads.

The Energy Ministry noted that the situation is under special control. The regional main office on securing the power supply is working 24/7.

As reported earlier, on Dec. 24 the territory of the annexed Crimea was left without electricity in full, but later the supplies from Ukraine renewed.
