Foreigners to be appointed for executive management posts in Ukraine for the lack of local talents - Poroshenko

President Petro Poroshenko announced that Ukraine is experiencing huge deficit of staff, this is why it will cover it with the so-called 'critical import', i.e. will search for professionals abroad.

He announced this at the National reform council meeting, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"I would be honest, we are experiencing huge deficit of professional, patriotic, and qualified staff. I am sure that, unfortunately, we have to compensate for it with the so-called critical import, including from abroad," Poroshenko said.

"This doesn't mean that we have ended very efficient and useful practice of appointing foreigners. I promise you a few more surprises," he added.

Poroshenko also noted that it is necessary to start training local candidates pool immediately, which pool should have "Western degrees, knowledge of foreign languages, experience, and which will allow to set national staff pool."
