Yanukovych Was Trying to Withdraw 20 Million Hryvnia from Oshchadbank Accounts to Bring Money Abroad - Yarema

Pechersk district court of Kyiv refused to release 20 million hryvnia on the accounts of former President Viktor Yanukovych in state-owned Oshchadbank – one of the largest banks in Ukraine.

Prosecutor General Vitalii Yarema announced at the press conference on Monday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"Viktor Yanukovych lawyers attempted last Friday to withdraw 20 million hryvnia, which are blocked on his account in Oshchadbank. An attempt was made to remove the arrest from these funds and take them outside Ukraine," he said.
