Answering the question, when the presenting of Zelenskyi’s team, particularly candidates for Head of the Security Service, Prosecutor General’s Office, Defense Ministry and others, will take place, Kostiuk said: "As soon as the team enters the Administration of the President, the access to the particular information will appear".
He confirmed that it is not planned to call these names before the inauguration.
"We cannot call the head of the Security Service or prosecutor general because it is one case to call a person and another one to appoint a person. We do not possess resources to fully check people as it should be done; to check whether they have relatives in Russia, which background they have and what is their real biography," Kostiuk explained.
He expressed the position that the candidates for the mentioned posts should be checked not only by the representatives of the special services but also public activists.
"Today, the public activists are trusted by the society more and they find the skeletons in the closet better than anyone else. So, when the fully check is done, we will call these people," he added.
