"We have not received any applications for arranging a debate. Since last night, nothing has changed, and if there is official information, we will publish it on our website and Facebook page," the press service informed.
According to the enterprise, NSC Olimpiyskiyi has not had any experience in organizing a debate at the stadium, therefore, it is difficult to speak about details of a possible event without specific information from potential participants.
As earlier reported, according to the official voting results, Volodymyr Zelenskyi got 30.24% of the vote, Petro Poroshenko – 15.95%. On April 3, Zelenskyi invited Poroshenko to a debate before the second round of presidential elections. Zelenskyi stressed that the debate should take place at the Olimpiyskiyi stadium in Kyiv, in the presence of all interested journalists and television channels.
Poroshenko, in his video address, reminded that according to the rules of the debate stipulated in the law on presidential elections, it can be held on public television and broadcast on all television channels. "But if it's the stadium, let it be the stadium. I'm waiting for you, Volodymyr Oleksandrovych," Poroshenko said.
