"From March 31 to April 2, police received 2,690 reports on violations of the electoral process. 71 criminal proceedings were opened," the report says.
The largest number of reports came from Dnipropetrovsk region - 356, Kyiv - 317, Donetsk region - 264, Odesa region - 222, Kharkiv region- 218, Poltava region- 124, and Kyiv region - 116.
The facts mostly related to illegal campaigning - 152, photographing of ballot papers - 149, voter bribery - 61, damaging of ballot papers - 39, false reports on bomb threats - 18, attempts to bring a ballot out of a polling station - 13.
In addition, police drew up 50 administrative protocols.
The first round of presidential elections in Ukraine was held on March 31.
