As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Nov. 5, combined Russian-separatist forces fired upon the Ukrainian troops 14 times using weapons banned by the Minsk agreements in one of the attacks.
The Russian mercenaries employed grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms against defenders of Vilnyi, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Novomykhailivka, Krasnohorivka, Pavlopil and Hnutove.
"The enemy avoids getting into a fight but at the same time tries to maintain tension along the contact line," the statement reads.
The enemy also reportedly bombarded the Joint Forces fighters deployed in the vicinity of Pavlopil with 120-mm mortar shells. It was near this village at the Mariupol section of the forefront where the invaders committed the greatest number of attacks over the past day.
"Not a single Ukrainian soldier was killed or wounded in yesterday’s hostilities," the casualty report says.
One attack was recorded near Pavlopil today, Nov. 6, while no heavy weapons were used and the Joint Forces reported zero casualties.
Intelligence sources indicate two Russian mercenaries wounded yesterday.
