"Local Samooborona is Near Regional Election Committee, Tires Are Here": Candidate is Protecting His Win at Elections in Lutsk

Ihor Lapin, a parliamentary candidate from People's Front, is forced to give away his win at the 22nd election constituency in the city of Lutsk.

This was announced by Andrii Levus, Deputy Head of the SBU, wrote on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.

"Alarming news from Lutsk. Our colleague, Samooborona (Self-Defense) activist, company commander from "Aidar," People's Front MP candidate Ihor Lapin is being stolen his victory. According to stamped protocols, Lapin received 24,245 votes, while Konstankevych (his opponent - ed.) had 24,217 votes. The regional election committee is retarding the decision. Local Samooborona is near the Committee right now, and the tires are here. I hope that the members of the committee will protect the choice of the citizens and will not serve the oligarchs. Oligarchs are far away, and the tires are near. And the law protects Lapin," Levus wrote.
