As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Oct. 2, Russian-led forces attacked the Ukrainian troops 34 times including eight attacks with heavy weapons banned by the Minsk agreements.
The Russian-occupation forces employed 120- and 82-mm mortars, armament of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms against the defenders of Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Orikhove, Katerynivka, Novozvanivka, Luhanske, Verkhniotoretske, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Novotroitske, Bohdanivka, Starohnativka, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne.
"The invaders bombarded the Ukrainian troops’ stronghold in the vicinity of Orikhove with 120- and 82-mm mortar shells. Defenders of Krymske were barraged from 82-mm mortars twice. Besides, the enemy committed mortar strikes on the Joint Forces’ strongholds near Novotoshkivske, Luhanske, Starohnativka and Lebedynske. The defenders of Luhanske and Hnutove came under IFV armament fire.
"A Joint Forces fighter was killed and two were wounded in action," the report reads.
Intelligence sources indicate three invaders eliminated and three wounded over the past 24-hour period.
