As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Oct. 1, combined Russian-separatist troops committed 21 attacks on the government forces including four strikes with weapons banned by the Minsk agreements.
Over the past 24 hours, the Russian occupying troops fired upon the defenders of Krymske, Zolote, Novozvanivka, Luhanske, Zaitseve, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Novotroitske, Starohnativka, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske, and Shyrokyne from grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms. The Joint Forces’ stronghold near Vodiane village was bombarded with 120- and 82-mm mortar shells while the strong point near Luhanske came under two strikes with 82-mm mortars. The invaders also employed armament of infantry fighting vehicles against the defenders of Luhanske.
"No Joint Forces fighter was killed or wounded over the past 24-hour period," the report reads.
Intelligence sources indicate four Russian mercenaries eliminated and six wounded yesterday.
As for today, Oct. 2, the invaders mounted three attacks on the Joint Forces’ strongholds: defenders of Vodiane and Lebedynske villages, Mariupol section of the forefront, were fired upon with large-caliber machine guns and small arms while the Ukrainian troops’ strong point in the vicinity of Krymske was also barraged from grenade launchers. No heavy weapons were used in the said assaults which inflicted no casualties on the Ukrainian soldiers.
