As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Sept. 27, the invaders fired upon the government forces’ strongholds 22 times without using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
The Russian-occupation forces employed grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms against the defenders of Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Zolote, Troitske, Novotroitske, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne. The invaders also fired upon the Joint Forces fighters deployed near Novotroitske and Shyrokyne from armament of infantry fighting vehicles while Ukrainian troops stationed in the vicinity of Novotoshkivske came under fire of Zu-23-2 anti-aircraft gun.
"No Ukrainian serviceman was killed or wounded in action over the past 24 hours," the report reads.
Intelligence sources indicate four Russian mercenaries eliminated and eight more wounded yesterday.
"Today, Sept. 28, the enemy committed two attacks on the Ukrainian troops’ strongholds near the village of Hnutove using no heavy weapons but large-caliber machine guns and small arms only. The Joint Forces fighters suffered no losses as a result of these assaults," the press center said.
