As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update buy the JFO headquarters press center as of Sept. 24, the Russian-led separatists committed 27 attacks on the strongholds of the government forces using weapons banned by the Minsk agreements twice.
The Russian-occupation forces employed 120- and 82-mm mortars, anti-tank missile systems, grenade launchers of various types, large-caliber machine guns and small arms against the Ukrainian servicemen in the vicinity of Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Zolote, Svitlodarsk, Zaitseve, Pivdenne, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novotroitske, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne.
"The enemy bombarded the Joint Forces fighters deployed near Hnutove village, the Mariupol section of the frontline, from 82-mm mortars. The invaders also barraged the defenders of Pivdenne village at Horlivka section of the frontline with 120-mm mortar shells. The stronghold of the Ukrainian forces near Krymske, the Luhansk direction, was shelled with anti-tank guided missiles. The Russian-occupying forces fired upon the defenders of Vodiane with armament of infantry fighting vehicles.
"No Ukrainian soldier was killed or injured in action over the past 24-hour period," the report reads.
Intelligence sources indicate one invader eliminated and four wounded yesterday.
As for today, Sept. 25, the enemy committed two attacks on the government forces deployed near Vodiane and Shyrokyne villages, the Mariupol section of the frontline, using large-caliber machine guns and small arms. The Joint Forces fighters incurred no casualties in these attacks.
