"Does he give testimony? He does," Forostiak said.
The law enforcer disclosed no details of the testimony noting, however, that there were some leads he also refused to elaborate on citing the ongoing investigation.
According to him, the police are investigating several theories of the attack on Mykhailyk in Odesa from the domestic dispute to his social activism.
"Various versions are considered ranging from domestic [conflict] to public work," Forostiak said.
An identified person shot at public activist, leader of the city organization of the party Syla Lyudei (Power of the People) Oleh Mykhailyk on Osipov Street in Odesa late on Sept. 22. He was taken to hospital in grave condition.
Syla Lyudei party says the Odesa local authorities are behind the attack on its member. As of the morning of Sept. 23, Mykhailyk regained consciousness. The doctors plan to extract the bullet after his condition will be stabilized. The public activist was given security.
