As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Sept. 20, the Russian invaders fired upon the government forces 22 times including three attacks with heavy weapons banned by the Minsk agreements.
Combined Russian-separatist forces committed attacks using 120- and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms. Defenders of Krymske, Marinka, Novotroitske, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne came under enemy fire.
"The enemy bombarded the strongholds of the Ukrainian troops near Lebedynske and Shyrokyne, the Mariupol section of the forefront, with 82-mm mortar shells while 120-mm mortars were employed against the Ukrainian servicemen stationed in the vicinity of Krymske village at Luhansk section of the frontline.
"In total disregard of norms of basic human decency and in violation of Minsk agreements, the Russian-occupation troops barraged residential neighborhoods of Shyrokyne village at the Sea of Azov littoral from 122-mm artillery yesterday at 6 a.m. causing no civilian or military casualties or inflicting no damage on the households.
"No Joint Forces fighter was killed or wounded in action over the past day," the report reads.
Intelligence sources indicate two invaders eliminated and four wounded in response fire yesterday.
"Today, Sept. 21, the enemy attacked the defenders of Krymske, the Luhansk direction, and Vodiane, the Mariupol section of the front using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms four times. Ukrainian military incurred no losses in those attacks," the agency said.
