Ukrainian army reports one soldier wounded in Donbas on Sept. 21 amid 24 attacks by Russian proxies

Over the past 24-hour period, combined Russian-separatist forces continued violating Minsk agreements by using large caliber weapons in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) zone.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Sept. 19, Russian invaders fired upon the Ukrainian troops’ strongholds 24 times using banned heavy weapons in four of the cases.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy attacked the government forces deployed near Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Troitske, Luhanske, Svitlodarsk, Pisky, Nevelske, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Berezove, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne.

"The Russian occupation forces committed attacks using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. The invaders also bombarded the Joint Forces’ strongholds near Krymske, Lebedynske and Vodiane from 82-mm mortars and later barraged the defenders of Krymske with 120-mm mortar shells. In addition, anti-tank missile systems were employed against the Ukrainian troops near Luhanske.

"A Joint Forces fighter was wounded in action over the past day," the report reads.

Intelligence sources indicate one member of the Russian-occupation troops eliminated and three wounded yesterday.

"Today, Sept. 20, the enemy fired upon the defenders of Krymske and Chermalyk from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms twice. No Joint Forces soldier was killed or injured as a result of those attacks," the agency said.
