As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Sept. 16, the Russian invaders committed 30 attacks on the government forces including two strikes with heavy weapons banned by the Minsk agreements.
Over the past day, the enemy employed against the Ukrainian troops 120- and 82-mm mortars, armament of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
"The Russian-occupation forces deliberately fired upon the defenders of Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Zolote, Novozvanivka, Svitlodarsk, Novoluhanske, Opytne, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novotroitske, Novohryhorivka, Starohnativka, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne.
"At the Svitlodarsk direction, the enemy barraged the defenders of Novoluhanske village with 120-mm mortar shells and bombarded the Ukrainian military deployed in the vicinity of Lebedynske, the Mariupol section of the forefront, from 82-mm mortars.
"The invaders also fired upon the stronghold of Novohryhorivka defenders with armament of an infantry fighting vehicle. No Ukrainian soldier was killed or injured in action over the past 24-hour period," the situation report reads.
Intelligence sources indicate three invaders eliminated and three wounded in past day.
"Today, Sept. 17, the enemy committed one attack on the JFO members deployed near Hnutove using large-caliber machine guns and small arms. The attack inflicted no casualties on the Ukrainian military personnel," the agency said.
