No Ukrainian soldier killed or injured in Donbas over past day amid 24 attacks by Russian proxies, - JFO center

Trying to invite retaliation of the government forces, the combined Russian-separatist troops continued violating the ‘back-to-school’ ceasefire in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) zone over the past 24-hour period.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Sept. 4, the Russian invaders opened fire on the Ukrainian troops’ positions 24 times. It is noteworthy that the enemy used no heavy weapons banned by the Minsk agreements yesterday.

The occupiers reportedly committed deliberate attacks using grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms as well as anti-tank missile systems at certain section of the forefront.

"The Russian-occupation forces mounted attacks on the Ukrainian soldiers deployed on the outskirts of Shchastia, Triokhizbenka, Krymske, Maiorsk, Novhorodske, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Bohdanivka, Hnutove, Lebedynske, Vodiane and Shyrokyne.

"The Joint Forces sustained no battle casualties," the situation report reads.

Intelligence sources report one invader eliminated and another two wounded in response fire over the past 24 hours.

Today, Sept. 5, the enemy fired upon the government forces’ positions near Vodiane with large-caliber machine guns and small arms inflicting no casualties on the Ukrainian servicemen.
