 No battle casualties in Ukrainian army over past day amid 36 attacks by Russian proxies

Combined Russian-separatist forces continued inviting retaliation of the Ukrainian troops in the Joint forces operation (JFO) zone over the past 24 hours occasionally using banned 82-mm mortars.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of Aug. 7, the invaders mounted 36 attacks on the Ukrainian military personnel including five strikes with heavy weapons.

"The Russian occupation troops employed grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms against defenders of Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Malynove, Novozvanivka, Troitske, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Svitlodarsk, Opytne, Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Hnutove, Lebedynske Pavlopil, Vodiane and Shyrokyne. Moreover, the enemy bombarded positions on the outskirts of Krymske, Novoluhanske, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne with 82-mm mortars," the statement reads.

"No Ukrainian soldier was killed or wounded in action yesterday. The Russian militants have already committed two attacks on Ukrainian soldiers deployed in the vicinity of Krymske and Shyrokyne villages since midnight today," the press service said.

Intelligence sources indicate three invaders eliminated and nine wounded in retaliation fire over the past 24-hour period.
