 No Ukrainian soldier killed or injured as Russian mercenaries committed 20 attacks in Donbas over past day, - JFO center

The security situation in the Joint forces operation (JFO) zone remains under the control of Ukrainian despite 20 violations of the cease-fire committed by combined Russian-separatist forces troops over the past 24-hour period.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of July 10, 2018, the enemy activity in Luhansk, Popasna and Svitlodarsk directions remains low: the Russian mercenaries fired upon the JFO units near Krymske, Orikhove and Novoluhanske three times.

At Donetsk section of the frontline, the invaders invited retaliation of Avdiivka and Opytne defenders with grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.

At the same time, the situation in Mariupol direction remained tense since 14 attacks were mounted against the Ukrainian soldiers deployed on the outskirts of Vodiane, Lebedynske, Shyrokyne, Hnutove, Pavlopil and Bohdanivka with the use of grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.

"Today, July 11, the Russian occupation forces violated cease-fire five times at Svitlodarsk and Donetsk sections of the forefront mainly using heavy machine guns and grenade launchers. The enemy fired upon our defenders’ strongholds in the vicinity of Novoluhanske, Marinka, Krasnohorivka and Avdiivka. No Ukrainian soldier has been killed or wounded in action," the situation report reads.

Intelligence sources indicate one invader killed and two others wounded yesterday in what is believed to be a landmine blast.
