MP Bereziuk accuses Poroshenko Bloc faction of manufacturing crisis in parliament by leaving it until CEC members’ replacement put back on table

The stance taken by Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB) faction manufactures parliamentary crisis.

As reported by the parliamentary correspondent for Censor.NET, this was said by Samopomich faction leader Oleh Bereziuk on Thursday, July 5.

"PPB must come back to the session hall and work along with the rest of lawmakers in order to find a solution to the crisis they have manufactured," Bereziuk said.

Shortly after his speech, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andrii Parubii announced a 30-minute break at the request of the People's Front and the Radical Party factions inviting all the heads of factions to hold negotiations.

Before that, the parliament managed to pass the draft law "on amendments to certain laws of Ukraine on official publication of Ukrainian laws and other legal acts" by 240 votes.

It is worth noting that the law was adopted without vast majority of the PPB faction. Only 10 members of this faction took part in the voting.

Earlier on Thursday, the lawmakers refused to start replacing members of the Central Election Commission (CEC) as their terms of office had expired. After that, the PPB faction refused to take part in further lawmaking until the MPs revert to replacement of CEC members.
