Mariupol celebrates fourth anniversary of liberation from "DPR" terrorists’ occupation

Today Mariupol celebrates the fourth anniversary of its liberation from the terrorists of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic."

As reported by Censor.NET, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and First Deputy Chief of the National Police Viacheslav Abroskin congratulated the city residents on this occasion.

"Congratulations on the fourth anniversary of the liberation of Mariupol! I am sure we will establish peace and return all the occupied territories to Ukraine," Poroshenko said.

Former Chief of the Donetsk region police, Viacheslav Abroskin also addressed the residents of the frontline city: "I congratulate the Mariupol residents on the fourth anniversary of the city's liberation from Russian mobsters and chaos! I am very proud of the city, its residents, the soldiers of the National Guard’s Azov [regiment], members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, our volunteer soldiers."

The Mariupol Liberation Day is celebrated annually on June 13. That was the day when Ukrainian army cleared the city of the pro-Russian terrorists. Several militants were eliminated and more than 20 ones were detained in the operation with no peaceful residents of Mariupol being severely injured.
