Ukrainian army reports two soldiers killed, two injured yesterday amid 25 attacks by Russian proxies

The situation in the Joint forces operation (JFO) zone remained tense over the past day: the enemy committed attacks mainly using small arms.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of June 6, the Russian-occupation troops intensified hostilities on the outskirts of Krymske, Novozvanivka, Opytne, Marinka, Vodiane, and Shyrokyne villages at night time. The enemy committed a total of 25 attacks over the past 24 hours including two mortar strikes.

It is also noted that JFO units made efforts to avert the enemy provocations and adequately responded to its hostile actions.

"Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed and another two were wounded in action on June 6," the report reads.

Intelligence sources indicate that five invaders were eliminated and three received combat injuries in retaliation fire.

"The situation in the Luhansk region somewhat deteriorated early today, June 7, as the invaders shelled the outskirts of Krymske and Novotoshkivske with 120- and 82-mm mortars five times. The JFO units maintained their grip on the situation in the area. Our troops suffered no losses in today’s fighting," the update says.
