No one killed, two Ukrainian soldiers injured as Russian terrorists employed artillery and mortars against them on May 30, - JFO center

Hostilities were recorded all along the contact line in the Joint forces operation (JFO) zone over the past 24-hour period.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the latest update by the JFO headquarters press center as of May 30, combined Russian-separatist forces breached truce 28 times yesterday using heavy weapons such as 122-mm cannons, 120- and 82-mm mortars in nine cases.

In the Luhansk region, the most intense attacks were recorded in the vicinity of Krymske and Novotoshkivske villages. At Donetsk section of the frontline, the JFO elements maintained active defense near Zaitseve and Novotroitske. The enemy attacks near Chermalyk and Hnutove in Mariupol direction were adequately retaliated.

"Two our defenders were injured in combat operations. The wounded were immediately taken to hospitals. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Intelligence sources indicate that two invaders were eliminated and another four received injuries over the past 24 hours," the situation report reads.

The intensity of hostilities reportedly decreased early today, May 31: "The enemy violated the ceasefire using small arms alone. No casualties were recorded as of 7 a.m. today."
