UEFA agreed with position of the Kyiv City State Administration that using Gazprom logos during Champions League final in the Khreshchatyk-based fan zone is unacceptable.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, UEFA backed Kyiv authorities' stance on inadmissibility of using the logos of the Russian Gazprom as a partner of UEFA in the design of the 'Festival of Champions' territory for fans and guests of the Champions League final on Khreshchatyk.

"Disobedience campaigns, acts of vandalism, and graffiti shows have been canceled. UEFA has agreed with the position of the Kyiv City State Administration about the impossibility of using the logos of Gazprom, even as information about the Champions League partners. Everything has already been cleared away. A new design is being printed that will replace the dismantled one. Thank you all for understanding," chief representative of the Kyiv City State Administration on the preparations for the Champions League final Andrii Myroshnychenko wrote on social media and posted relevant pictures.
