"The final testing of the export version of Skif anti-tank guided missile system took place in the Chernihiv region being watched by the customer's representatives. Several missiles were launched during the test. All the designated targets were successfully destroyed. The customer’s representatives were satisfied and highly assessed unique capabilities of the missiles produced by Luch," the report reads.
Skif portable anti-tank missile launcher is designed to hit the enemy troops, mobile and stationary protected targets with combined, spread or solid armoring including explosive-reactive armor, as well as small-sized targets such as machine gun bunkers, lightly armored objects, and helicopters.
The missile launcher’s main feature is the possibility to fire indirectly which reduces the risk for the gunner to be killed in the enemy backfire. The system uses missiles with tandem and blast-fragmentation warheads.
