 No casualties among Ukrainian soldiers recorded yesterday as Russian proxies used banned heavy weapons 21 times, - JFO HQ

Ukrainian army sustained no battle casualties in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) zone yesterday and last night. Two members of combined Russian-separatist forces were killed and three more were injured in the Donbas as Ukrainian troops retaliated 21 attacks on them committed with heavy weapons banned by the Minsk agreements.

Censor.NET reports citing the update by the JFO headquarters press center as of May 3, 2018.

According to the agency, the majority of the enemy attacks were recorded in Donetsk, Svitlodarsk, and Mariupol directions. In violation of the Minsk accords, the invaders attempted to weaken defenses of Ukrainian troops yet again.

"21 attacks with banned weapons were committed by the Russian-terrorist forces on May 3 and four attacks on the night of May 4 near Svitlodarsk, Luhanske, Troitske, Prychepylivka, Novotoshkivske, Zaitseve, Krymske, Kamianka, and Talakivka. Our troops inflicted casualties on the invaders as a result of active defense: scouts report two militants killed and three wounded," the statement reads.

As of 7 a.m. May 4, no Ukrainian soldier was killed or injured in combat operations over the past day and last night.

Earlier, the Russian terrorists committed 52 attacks on Ukrainian military personnel on May 2.
