"At Donetsk section of the forefront, the enemy bombarded defenders of Pavlopil, Lebedynske, and Novotroitske with 120-mm mortars banned by the Minsk agreements and shelled defenders of Pisky and Pavlopil with 82-mm mortars. Grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms were employed against the ATO forces’ defenses in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Kamianka, Butivka mine, Verkhniotoretske, Pyshchevyk, Shyrokyne and Hnutove. Moreover, the militants fired upon the Ukrainian troops’ strongpoints near Pisky and Talakivka with armament of infantry fighting vehicles, committed attacks with large-caliber machine guns on the outskirts of Opytne, and used small arms near Slavne, Berezove, and Lebedynske. Sniper attacks were recorded in the vicinity of Novotroitske.
"In Luhansk direction, the militants shelled defenders of Luhanske, Troitske, and Svitlodarsk with banned 120-mm mortars. The suburbs of Luhanske and Svitlodarsk were also bombarded with 82-mm mortars. Ukrainian troops deployed outside Novoluhanske and Novhorodske villages were fired upon with grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns while defenders of Luhanske and Troitske came under IFV armament fire.
"One Ukrainian soldier was injured and another one received combat trauma in action over the past 24-hour period. The injured servicemen were taken to hospitals where they received the necessary medical assistance," the situation report reads.
Earlier, combined Russian-terrorist forces committed 52 attacks on the Ukrainian troops on April 14.
