Ukrainian army reports no combat losses in past day amidst 39 militants’ attacks, - ATO HQ

The Russian-backed militants continued breaching the so-called “Easter truce” by committing 39 attacks on Ukrainian troops in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone over the past 24 hours.

"At Donetsk section of the frontline, defenders of Butivka mine were attacked by the enemy snipers and fired upon with 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms. The militants employed grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms against ATO forces in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Lebedynske and Kamianka.

"The invaders also bombarded suburbs of Vodiane and Marinka villages with grenade launchers. Defenders of Hnutove were fired upon with armament of infantry fighting vehicles, defenders of Opytne and Hnutove – with large-caliber machine guns, defenders of Shyrokyne and Vodiane came under sniper attacks and small arms fire. Ukrainian troops deployed near Pavlopil, Hnutove and Nevelske were also attacked with small arms.

"In Luhansk direction, the militants employed small arms against the ATO forces’ defenses in the vicinity of Stanytsia Luhanska and Donets railroad station. No Ukrainian soldier was killed or injured in action over the past 24-hour period.

Earlier, Russian mercenaries committed 24 attacks on Ukrainian military personnel on April 3.
