As reported by Censor.NET citing 112 Ukraine TV channel, the head of SAP also said he had no intent to take part in the meeting of the Higher qualifications and disciplinary bar commission on April 2 and knew nothing about his questioning allegedly scheduled by the PGO.
The Prosecutor General’s Office earlier said that Kholodnytskyi was summoned by the agency’s department investigating major frauds to testify as a witness on March 30. However, he failed to come to the questioning. Kholodnytskyi said he had learned about his scheduled questioning from the media reports but was never served a summons.
On March 30, Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko initiated dismissal of Kholodnytskyi over alleged disciplinary offenses.
Several news agencies earlier reported that Kholodnytskyi considered his resignation over alleged health issues. According to another opinion, possible resignation of SAP’s chief can be connected to the pressure exerted on him. Kholodnytskyi later said he had no intent to resign.
