No one killed or injured in past day amid two attacks by Russian-backed militants, - ATO HQ

No Ukrainian soldier was killed or injured as combined Russian and terrorist troops committed two attacks in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone over the past 24-hour period.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO headquarters press center as of March 1, 2018.

"In Luhansk section of the forefront, the Russian-occupation troops fired ten projectiles with 82-mm mortars upon the ATO forces deployed on the outskirts of Svitlodarsk.

"The invaders employed 82-mm mortars, arms of infantry fighting vehicles, and grenade launchers against the Ukrainian troops in the vicinity of Pisky village in Donetsk direction.

"No cease-fire violations were recorded at other sections of the frontline. Over the past 24-hour period, the aggressor committed two deliberate attacks on Ukraine’s Armed Forces that inflicted no casualties on Ukrainian soldiers," the situation report reads.

Earlier, the Russian mercenaries fired upon the Ukrainian troops five times on Feb. 28.
