"In Luhansk direction, the tensest situation was at the Svitlodarsk salient where the enemy employed 122-mm artillery, 120- and 82-mm mortars, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms against the Ukrainian troops deployed near Troitske village. The outskirts of this front-line village were hit by about 150 artillery and mortar shells while the bombardment lasted for more than five hours.
"The Russian-occupation forces blanketed the suburbs of Luhanske village with more than 60 mortar shells with calibers of 120- and 82-mm, grenade launchers of various types, and also used large-caliber machine guns.
"The invaders bombarded the outskirts of Novozvanivka and Popasna with 82-mm mortars. The defenders of Maiorsk, Zaitseve and Stanytsia Luhanska were fired upon with small arms and grenade launchers.
"The enemy committed a total of 14 deliberate attacks on the Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed along the contact line over the past day. No Ukrainian soldier was killed or injured in action," the report reads.
Earlier, the Russian mercenaries fired upon the Ukrainian troops 11 times on Feb. 12.
