Russia's reluctance to fulfill its obligations is what scraps Minsk agreements, - Ukraine's Foreign Ministry on Lavrov's statement

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine responded to the statement by Russian FM Sergey Lavrov regarding the so-called “Donbas reintegration bill” regulating certain aspects of state policy to ensure Ukraine's state sovereignty in temporarily occupied areas in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions that was passed by the Verkhovna Rada on Jan. 18, 2018.

"Scrapping the Minsk agreements is non-fulfillment by Russia, by their side, of their obligations, and the ongoing aggression," a spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, Mariana Betsa, wrote on TwitterCensor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

As reported, Lavrov said in an interview with the Rossiya-1 TV channel that Ukraine "will make a huge mistake by reneging on the Minsk agreements, if the bill on the reintegration of the Donbas is signed into law."
