Yanukovych's cronies Azarov and Arbuzov put on wanted list, prosecutor general says

Ukraine’s Former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and former National Bank Chief Serhii Arbuzov were put on the national wanted list almost four years after they fled the country.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko.

"The following individuals were indicted and put on the national wanted list under the probe into crime ring led by Viktor Yanukovych:

- former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov charged with complicity in misappropriation of liquefied propane gas worth 2.2 billion hryvnia which was produced by Ukrhazvydobuvannia and Ukrnafta;

- former Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Serhii Arbuzov charged with complicity in embezzlement of funds in the amount of 3.2 billion hryvnia allocated by Chornomornaftohaz State Oil Company for the purchase of two jack-up drilling rigs (В312 and В319).

The law enforcers also detained Mr. Ihnatchenko and Mrs. Frolova charged with using non-resident companies they owned to launder money stolen by the crime ring members. They face pre-trial custody with the option to post 1 billion hryvnia in bail," he wrote on social media.
